Rachel Ta
Managing Partner & Founder
Rachel started her career in recruitment spending 16 years working for global firms Michael Page & Derwent Executive. While there, she managed and built robust accounts by recruiting leaders in eight Asia Pacific countries in various sectors. While she excelled in this space, Rachel yearned to do more than just place people in new jobs; she wanted to see them tap into their true potential. And so, in 2016, Rachel founded The Office Limited and built an ecosystem of industry experts, corporate coaches, and development professionals who support candidates in their leadership journey.
Her nuanced understanding of a successful placement led her to pioneer an approach to recruitment that devotes equal energy after a placement, as before, in order to ensure a higher rate of success. In addition to the corporate clients who benefit from this holistic model of recruitment, candidates have also shown their appreciation by maintaining lasting relationships with Rachel over the years.
Born in Vietnam, Rachel moved to France at an early age. Following her education, she made her way to Hong Kong where she has lived since 1994. Rachel is always seeking new ways to discover and unleash potential in herself and in those around her. She believes we need to have a healthy mind and body to challenge our boundaries and grow ourselves. In her spare time, she plays the cello in a string ensemble, and enjoys swimming and tennis.

Daniel Tran
Partner & Co-Founder
Daniel is an executive search professional passionate about helping clients and candidates find their match. Executing searches holistically, Daniel meticulously oversees each stage of the placement, forging long-lasting seamless bonds between both parties through post-placement developmental support.
His proven track record includes placing senior executives in functional leadership roles (CEO, CFO, CHRO, COO) in companies ranging from Fortune 500 to start-ups in the consumer sector across Asia Pacific.
Born in Vietnam, Daniel was raised in Paris where he studied fashion design before starting his career in consumer product sourcing in France and then in Hong Kong. Eventually he transitioned into recruitment, first with People Search where he built its retail, health and beauty practices, and then with Derwent Executive as a key leader in its consumer industries. Daniel co-founded The Office Limited with Rachel in 2016, with the aim to built an impactful ecosystem in the executive search field.
Daniel plays competitive tennis and enjoys hosting friends at home. He also spends time researching holistic health trends, inspiring himself and taking care of those around him to live healthier and more meaningful lives.
